Mid-week match against Vänersborg RK ladies was the usual tough affair that we always come to expect. Unfortunately the squad would be down a few players which would have a few musical chairs during the 80 minutes which , due to strong first up tackles, provided yet another 80 minutes of working inches as opposed to meters.
Both squads were guilty of giving away high penalty counts but despite this neither squad really took the advantage.
The ladies will be happy to have a few days off after two strong encounters against good opposition. Looking at the scores from around the country I would guess that the west and south have a more even competition and both games have been positives for the fans and neutral observers.
The scoreline would end 20-5 in favour of the home team. We expect the return match to be as tough as this one.
